Moving Beyond the Ego’s Vision (The Letters of Christ)
Personal note : After reading three versions of the Letters of Christ, I felt the impulse to share certain excerpts, letting my intuition tell me which version was the most accurate for each sentence. So here is a version restructured through my current level of consciousness (2023).

When a person enters the spiritual dimension and is imbued with the characteristics of “LIFE”, they begin to realize and finally KNOW that the human ego’s impulse of “paying attention only to oneself” actually cuts the SOUL off from the continuous inflow of “DIVINE LIFE” into the mind, heart, body, relationships and daily experiences.
“Paying attention only to oneself” is a human, earthly experience.
A total and sincere surrender of individuality to the “FATHER-LIFE” removes the blockage between the spiritual dimension and the soul. The person no longer needs to “pay attention only to themselves”, all that DIVINE LIFE is now flows into their body, mind, heart, experiences and relationships. Such a person lives according to their “instinct” and follows their intuitions, which always prove perfect in the long run.
“DIVINE LIFE” IS ALWAYS THERE, ACCESSIBLE, whenever an individual gives up their own will and turns to DIVINE LIFE for every need.
Remember that I am referring to the moment when you enter the human dimension of the intellect and go beyond your dependence on the “intellect” and on material means to obtain what you want from life. Many people think they have reached this point of spiritual development, but they are deluding themselves.
When you give up logic – and know beyond all doubt that you can fully trust your intuition to accomplish inspired goals, your life changes. Blessings flow into your experience when you fully realize that Divine Consciousness is the invisible Reality – the Power – at work behind the outward appearances of your life, setting in motion an “intelligent force of energy” that will manifest what you need.
There is no need to deny appearances, or to devote all your mental energy to a situation you are trying to resolve.
All you have to do is give up your own will and KNOW that as your limited intellect yields its place, Infinite Reality settles in to arrange your life in a completely new way, in order to detach you from your past supports, to bring to your mind a new vision for a new effort, and to lead you into new fields of activity.
But when this happens to you, you must be ready to “let go” completely. You must stop clinging to the securities of the past, and know that greater securities of a different nature await you when you follow your inspiration.
Since this state of human/spiritual existence and harmonious well-being depends entirely on your ability to establish a true contact with Divine Reality, it is imperative to bring your scattered mind back again and again to meditate deeply on Divine Reality Itself, and to see the way the impulses of the ego work in human consciousness, ceaselessly blocking in the mind the intuitive messages coming from Divine Life.
At this moment, you are living a dark and heavy existence, instead of living consciously and entering “Divine Consciousness”, to allow it to penetrate and gladden your thoughts and your life experiences. You will remain locked in the mental-emotional framework of electromagnetic impulses until you decide to consciously dissolve the fabric of your humanly designed beliefs, and come to see clearly that your Reality is Divine Consciousness – and not your family or your bank account. When you reach this perception, you will enter the LIGHT – and the LIGHT will remain in you.
Because of the discomfort and the tug-of-war between the evolving soul and the human ego (which demands to “look good” rather than to “BE GOOD”, unable to tolerate the idea that it might possibly be imperfect), there are in this era few people receiving inspiration and passing it on to others who will stress the necessity of going through a period of inner purification.
The modern person is conditioned to obtain instant service, light, heat, food, drink, clothes and entertainment on demand. That is why they are not attracted to a TRUTH that involves self-sacrifice, constant work and total devotion to the goal. Moreover, many spiritual teachers earn plenty of money from their activities, and must present a “Truth” that sells well!
If your modern teachers speak of a path that allows you to reach the supreme dimensions through the transmission of their personal mental illumination, it will nevertheless be necessary for you to undergo deep introspection and the intense inner purification of your “magnetic emotions” of attachment-rejection.
If you are truly on the path that rises toward the supreme spiritual dimensions, your road will be characterized by moments of luminous, clear-sighted introspection and awareness, frequently followed by self-disgust. This depressing and painful feeling is the flip side of the magnetic emotion.
Where previously the ego clung to its essential vision of itself as being the best and even better than others, it now begins to glimpse the unbearable fact that perhaps it is not just a little – but very imperfect. Anyone reaching this spiritual level of development finds themselves on the path of true humility.
Take heart when you see this happening to you. You are now getting rid of the debris of your old erroneous beliefs about yourself and your illusory personality.
Remember that it is your “intention”, “motivation” or “conviction” that gives you the creative power to do what you desire. From the moment you desire with all your heart to reverse the usual tendency of your magnetic emotional patterns, you will have set this process in motion.
If you clearly define your goals, and always keep them in mind or before your eyes by writing them down, very quickly, you will discover that the desired changes have taken place in your consciousness. You will then feel a great lightness of mind and you will have moments of pure joy. You will be living proof that the TRUTH of BEING does indeed lead “imprisoned hearts” toward the perfect freedom of spiritual life.
Also, understand that your ego must (out of necessity, to allow you to survive) make you believe that you have worth for yourself and for others. Any serious outside challenge to your own worth is very destructive. A desperate fear and a collapse of your self-confidence would lead you to believe that you have no worth in the world, and suicide could be the natural result. That is why your progress will be and must be gradual.
No one should ever expect people to be totally transformed by advice or moments of inspiration. Growth can only happen very gradually – one intuition at a time.
A true spiritual intuition will imbue a person’s mind with an entirely new point of view, which will then allow them to begin approaching certain circumstances of life differently. This intuition will guide the person’s actions until it has been completely absorbed into consciousness, and become an integral part of the evolution of their soul.
For example, a man may have the idea that he will succeed better in life if he aggressively imposes his will on those who come into his orbit. He believes he will be better heard if he shouts. Then he might become aware that nobody likes him much, and that he is avoided by his employees and his “friends”. He might then become even more aggressive because he now feels humiliated, or else, if he is an evolving soul, he would ask himself what he can do to get out of his isolation.
The moment DIVINE LIFE seeps into his PSYCHE consciousness and makes him realize that he himself avoids people who shout, he will have a flash of inspiration. He will realize that to be happy and succeed, he should treat others as he would like to be treated. You might object that this perception is not necessarily inspired but comes from common sense, and that he reached this conclusion all by himself. But that is not the case. The thoughts of the ego are dictated solely by the impulses of “attachment-rejection”. All new wisdom comes from “LOVING INTELLIGENCE”.
It is possible that this is the only flash of intuition he will ever have, but if he is truly on a spiritual path and aspires to the highest dimensions of realization, he will gradually perceive that this first victory over the “ego” is not enough. He will begin to see in himself other patterns of selfish behavior that he did not suspect before. He will set a new, more advanced goal, out of reach at that moment, but very quickly, through prayer and meditation, he will have reached that goal too. In this way, his vibrational frequencies will rise and he will progressively advance toward the “Heavenly Realms of Consciousness” – the “Kingdom of Heaven”.
Another example might be that of a woman who feels safe only by not changing the status quo. She is afraid to speak up when she is disrespected. Such a humble and self-effacing person, who feels more comfortable taking refuge in silence, will also suffer from deep resentments, because people do not respect her passive personality.
Such a person usually turns to religion for comfort and reassurance, and because of her misunderstanding of the laws of existence, she will probably remain frozen in her humility until the end of her days on Earth. Indeed, because of my words written in the gospels: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth”, the Church praises humility, and this woman may believe that her “humility” is the path to the LIGHT.
However, if this humble and self-effacing little lady discovers the TRUTH about her “being” and finds the right way to establish contact with “Universal Consciousness”, she will eventually hear inwardly, clearly, that spiritually, she is the equal of any other person.
She will find the inspiration needed to express herself properly and will receive the strength to express “her truth” in a more confident and appealing way. People will begin to respect this new woman, and she will manifest the inner spiritual development she acquired during the time spent in meditation.
Remember, you are not on Earth to “please God”, as your Church tells you. You are on Earth to “express” “God” and to establish an ever closer contact with Universal Consciousness, until you free yourself from magnetic emotional slavery.
