A Prison of Suffering (The Letters of Christ)
Personal note : After reading three versions of the Letters of Christ, I felt the impulse to share certain excerpts, letting my intuition tell me which version was the most accurate for each sentence. So here is a version restructured through my current level of consciousness (2023).
This is an excerpt from Letter 1.

I was granted to see the reality of the “earthly condition” of all living beings.
I felt an intense excitement, for I was finally going to be able to understand how it came about that such a loving Divine “Creative Power” could allow Its creation to endure such suffering.
I was shown that every living being in creation should radiate health, be cared for, fed, protected, healed, kept in peace and in fullness, and thrive in a society of “beings” having only love for one another.
However, at the moment of creation, two FUNDAMENTAL IMPULSES appeared to the being to guarantee its individuality, and these were the impulses of “Attachment – Rejection” that controlled human consciousness.
I was shown the following brilliant vision:
First, I saw a newborn baby in the form of a “light”, a life form of the “Creative Power”.
As the baby grew to become a child, then an adult, I saw this pure LIGHT of the “Creative Power” gradually diminish, until it was completely obscured by a dense layer of chains and ropes.
I asked the meaning of this vision, and a clear understanding came to my mind that could be expressed in the following terms:
“From birth to death – people believe and maintain that their five senses, sight, hearing, touch, smell and taste, correctly translate their \"reality\" and that of the universe around them. As a result, and because they draw their mind power directly from the Divine \"Creative Power\", it is done unto them according to their beliefs.”
Each of the chains represents an individual’s habitual thoughts, their responses to people and events, their prejudices, hatreds, animosities, anxieties, sorrows, all of which bind them and extinguish the Light of their inner vision drawn from the “Creative Power”. Thus, without knowing it, they plunge into darkness. They believe they are growing and perfecting themselves by respecting the social norms that will allow them to project themselves toward the future and “succeed” – which is the goal of most people on Earth.
In fact, the more mature they become in worldly ways, the more skill they acquire in their material undertakings, the more their chains and ropes imprison them in the claws of the twin IMPULSES of “Attachment – Rejection”.
Moreover, each of the chains is forged from selfish and dishonest desires, from avarice, aggression, violence and rape. These chains weigh heavily on their neck and burden the psyche, which is the “creative power of consciousness” deep within. These chains and ropes will bind them ever more tightly with each passing year, until they realize what they are inflicting on themselves, sincerely repent for every rope and every chain, and duly make amends to the people they have hurt.
Through this vision, I learned a precious aspect of existence. Man is born with all the potential needed to build a beautiful life, but by giving in to his selfish desires and his hatred, he creates for himself a prison of suffering from which he cannot escape, until the moment he becomes aware of the TRUTH OF EXISTENCE.
All the problems linked to a difficult existence lie in man’s own thought process!
It is only people’s “forms of consciousness”, that is, their thoughts, words, feelings and actions, that have created a dense barrier between their consciousness and the Universal Creative Consciousness, which permeates the universe in every leaf, tree, insect, bird, animal and human being.
I was also shown the LAWS OF EXISTENCE that control the human capacity to create new circumstances and a new environment, relationships, success or failure, prosperity or poverty.
What man deeply BELIEVES himself to be, for good or ill, he will become.
What man FEARS that others will do to him, so will they do to him.
What man HOPES that others will do to him, he must first do to them, since he then creates a “pattern of consciousness” that will return to him in the measure that he has given to others.
Any illness that man DREADS, he will fall victim to, because he will have created a “pattern of consciousness” of the very thing he least wishes to experience.
Everything that emanates from man’s heart and mind returns to him at some point in one form or another, but do not forget that everything always engenders its like. Thoughts strongly imbued with emotion in a man are “seeds of consciousness” planted in his own field of consciousness. These will grow, and will produce for his harvest a crop identical to what he has sown.
These are the fruits of free will.
There is no possibility for man to escape what he thinks, says or does – for he is born of the power of the Divine Creative Consciousness and is likewise a creator through his imagination.
People who aspire to good things for themselves must first give them to others. Let their very existence be a blessing to others.
When such people are in harmony with all others, then they are perfectly attuned to the Power of Universal Creative Consciousness.
