You Think You’re Not Doing Well
If you’re not doing well, it’s because you believe something is not going well. you judge that there is a problem, because you judge.
stop believing there’s a problem, but not in the sense of “there’s no problem, there are only solutions”: that’s a method called positive thinking, and it keeps believing the problem exists.
if you say there’s a solution, you’re declaring that a problem exists. looking for a solution is believing there’s a problem
there’s no solution, why? because there’s no problem. there are only experiences. and the perception we have of them. and remember that every experience is temporary anyway. so we look at it for what it is, we wait patiently and we stay cool
so when you consider there’s a problem, you choose the “problem” perception in the face of the experience,
when you consider there’s a problem, in fact you’re complaining about an experience
Does the flower complain about being withered?
Does the toilet complain about receiving all your crap?
Does the umbrella complain about being wet?
Does the panda complain about being fat?
Does the tie complain about being useless?
Does the snow complain about being cold?
If they don’t complain it’s because they don’t judge. Now imagine if they did complain...
imagine that atmosphere with all these things complaining... That’s the feeling we create when we complain, is that really the path to peace and the joy of living?
Only your little ego (the little devil in your head) makes you believe that something is going well and something else isn’t. This little ego that wants instead of accepting. It wants you to do even better. It wants you to own even more. It thinks it has to change something on the outside but it is only judging its own perception of things.
when you criticize, you think you’re criticizing something outside yourself, but in fact it’s your perception of the thing that you’re criticizing, so in fact you’re criticizing yourself and hurting yourself
you think you’re not doing well because you forgot you had the choice to do well. you have the power to change your perception of things
imagine you’ve just arrived on earth here and now and that the past doesn’t exist, learn to see things differently
